Be still my soul, the Lord is on thy side
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain
Leave to thy God to order and provide
In every change, He faithful will remain

내 영혼아 잠잠하라 주님은 네 편이시니
인내로써 슬픔과 고통의 십자가를 견디어라
너의 하느님께서 명령하시고 채우시도록 주도권을 드리어라
모든 변화 속에서도 너의 진실하신 하느님은 변치 않을 것이로다
내 영혼아 잠잠하라 너의 최고의, 하늘에 계신 친구께서
가시밭 길을 통해 너를 기쁨의 목적지로 인도하실 것이로다

To guide the future, as He has the past
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake
All now mysterious shall be bright at last

His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below
내 영혼아 잠잠하라 너의 하느님이 과거에도 그랬듯이
미래도 인도해 주실 것이로다
아무것도 너의 소망과 너의 확신을 흔들지 못할지니
현재의 비밀스러운 것들이 마지막엔 명백해질 것이로다
